What to Expect with Merry Moments Lighting
Every house and project is unique!
The starting price for an install is $1499.00. This is to maximize our efficiency, quality, and productivity during the Christmas lighting season. This price includes the arrangement of premium grade LED lights and materials, installation, free service calls, take down, and storage.
When do you begin installing Christmas lights?
Installations begin on October 1st. We contact existing customers in early September to set-up installation dates for the coming Christmas season.
We do our best to fulfill scheduled install dates. For any rain delays (we can work in light rain) we will reschedule you on the earliest day available.
Lights can be installed as early as you desire and then turned on at a later date. If we are installing garland and wreaths, we will often come back a second time, closer to Thanksgiving, to install these as they are more visible.
When do you take down the lights?
We take down lights starting January 2nd and will have all lights down by January 31st (weather permitting). Lights are taken down by zip code. We will contact you ahead of time with an approximate day.
If there is a specific date that you would like the lights taken down let us know beforehand and we will do our best to accommodate.
Do I need to be home?
No. All exterior decorations can be installed and taken down without anyone needing to be home, as long as we have access to an outdoor power outlet that is working.Payment
Payment is due in full upon completion of installation. For some larger installs we may require payment up front. We accept cash, check, or credit. We can email you an invoice that can be paid directly if you are not home at the time of installation.
